Round Table Procurement Services (RTPS) provides procurement management and project-based services to clients of all sizes across Canada.  RTPS specializes in collaborative procurement programs for groups of like organizations, particularly in the not for profit sector.  Our approach focusses on long-term client relationships, front-line staff support and supplier partnership development as the means to drive meanignful, lasting results for our clients.

Responsibilities/Duties

This person will:

Be the day-to-day client point of contact for a consultant-run procurement program at a large not for profit organization;

Work closely with both the local client and the national procurement consulting team based in Toronto

Be responsible for working with local management and operational staff on the development and implementation of a procurement strategy;

Work with field staff to implement and support new supplier agreements, answer questions, resolve issues and provide support;

Work with national and local senior procurement management to support the development of new supplier agreements and design other purchasing solutions, policies and processes, acting as a liaison between the senior team and the local client staff

Source supplier solutions for the Montreal-based office when required

Attend client operational and management meetings

Represent the consulting team in dealing with Montreal-based client staff

Fluent in both French and English

Proven ability to motivate people, facilitate change and "get things done"

Previous consulting and/or non-profit sector experience an asset

Reports to: the Principal, Procurement Team (Consultant Partner)

Based in client offices in downtown Montreal

Full time with consulting team, 95% dedicated to single client

This is a 12-Month Contract position, with a possible extension to full time employment.
