The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for handling the logistical coordination and timing of inbound shipments from factories as well as outbound shipments to customers and stores to meet sales plans. Other duties include liaison with 3rd party regarding transportation; reconciliation and ensuring the integrity of inventory in all warehouses and locations including daily monitoring of discrepancies, overseeing the physical inventory counts at stores, monitoring all paperwork associated with goods flows. The Logistics Coordinator shall also create and maintain all associated documentation in adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Review and follow up availability and timing of stock at factories in order to prepare shipments for transportation.
Advise and coordinate with 3rd party warehouse on arrival of goods to ensure proper allocation of personnel and space.
Monitor and allocate goods for boutiques and wholesale customers based on availability and pre-determined rules and priorities.
Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies with 3rd party warehouses.
Liaise with 3rd party transportation provider to ensure timely shipment and arrival of goods.
Create, monitor, and report on weekly and monthly logistics key performance indicators.
Ensure the integrity of inventory in all warehouses and locations through daily monitoring of discrepancies and overseeing the reconciliation of physical inventory in all locations.
Work with the inventory planning personnel to minimize shortages and improve inventory levels.
Follow up on all paperwork related to goods flows and ensure all stock movement is properly documented.
Provide monthly updates on the status of projects and give progress reports on other process improvement initiatives.
Assist with preparation of logistics budget.
Deal with imports and exports shipped to and from the company; work with 3rd party customs brokers to ensure compliance and clearance.
5 years of direct work experience in a logistics and/or transport function, supply chain management, or operations function.
Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation management.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience in managing third-party logistics providers.
