MSC Canada, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, is now one of the leading ocean carriers in Canada.  We are a fast-paced, dynamic company that emphasizes an organizational culture of open communication and personal growth.  Currently we are looking for energetic and friendly individuals who are passionate about providing professional, accurate, and timely customer service to our partners in business.  The Customer Service Department is the front line of MSC Canada, responding to all customer inquiries across all the different aspects of our company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot issues by phone and email for customers and/or vendors as they arise (both import and export)

Coordinate, enter, and/or validate data into internal company systems

Handle all email/phone requests, and ensure that they are properly addressed and communicated in a professional and accurate manner

Manage VIP accounts

Contribute positively to the team engagement and overall culture in the department

Possibility to work 11:30am-8:00pm

Qualifications:

Bilingual (English and French)

Post-secondary education and/or equivalent applicable shipping business experience

Well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required

Ability to problem solve and interact with customers without a script required

Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment required

Ability to work with people at all levels

Knowledge of proper business email etiquette

Willingness to learn and acquire new skills and abilities required

Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word an asset
