THE ADMINISTRATOR OF HEALTH & SAFETY WORKING IN REMOTE AREA reports directly to the General Manager or Senior Operations Manager.
His primary role is to coordinate with on-site Senior Management to ensure all aspects of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality Assurance is being strictly adhered to. The Health & Safety Administrator may offer advice, consult and recommend changes to Health and Safety policies and procedures to all managers, supervisors and workers.
Effectively use and promote safety and environment tools which include management of change, TASC Cards, JHA
Responsible for coordination and recording of all site safety training
Maintain compliance programs established by company and Governmental agencies
Support the development and implementation of HSSE-QA practices and behaviors required for safe operations at the site
Conduct daily audits and weekly safety inspections
Prepare and conduct thorough and concise Orientation for all new arrivals
Prepare and send reports on HSSE-QA as directed
Perform or lead incident investigation as required
Conducting regular safety meetings and health and safety worker rep meeting (JHSC)
